Common Questions
Septic FAQs

Do I need a perc test before designing my system?

In most cases, yes. A percolation test determines how well your soil absorbs water, which directly informs the right system type for your lot. We handle this as part of our design process.

How long does a septic installation take?

Most residential installations take 1–3 days once permits are in hand. The permit process can take 2–6 weeks depending on the county and system type. We'll give you a realistic timeline up front.

My drains are slow — is it my septic system?

Slow drains can indicate a septic issue, but not always. We'll assess your system and give you an honest answer — whether it's a drain field problem, a line obstruction, or something else entirely.

Do you offer septic pumping?

Septic pumping is not a service we provide. We specialize in design, installation, repairs, and maintenance. If you need pumping, we can refer you to a qualified specialist in your area — just give us a call.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Northern Arizona including Flagstaff, Sedona, the Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Cornville, Clarkdale), Prescott, and surrounding communities. Not sure? Call us and we'll let you know.

Can you design a system for a property that's never had one?

Absolutely — new system design for vacant lots and new builds is a core part of what we do. We'll work with your lot, local codes, and ADEQ requirements from the ground up.
